Standard Carrier + Side Carrier + Vertical Carrier for three measurement positions.
The Universal Punch KK2-10 is a triple-indicator concentricity gage for cylindrical parts in the 1/8–1 in (3–25 mm) diameter class and published part lengths up to 4 in (102 mm). The KK2 architecture combines a Standard Carrier, Side Carrier and Vertical Carrier, creating three configurable measurement positions with both side and vertical access.
The KK2-10 is the -10 size version of Universal Punch's KK2 triple-indicator concentricity-gage architecture. Current Universal Punch model-selection documentation identifies the model as a Triple Indicator Gage / 3–25 mm / Standard Carrier / Side Carrier & Vertical Carrier.
Its defining feature is the combination of three carrier positions with mixed access: one Standard Carrier, one Side Carrier and one Vertical Carrier. This allows the two secondary contacts to approach the same supported rotating component from different orientations.
The Universal Punch KK2-10 is a triple-indicator concentricity gage for 1/8–1 in (3–25 mm) diameter parts. It combines a Standard Carrier, Side Carrier and Vertical Carrier, giving the inspection setup three configurable indicator positions with both side and vertical measurement access, and supports published part lengths up to 4 in (102 mm).
KK2-10 is not simply a standard concentricity gage with three indicators added. Its purpose is to combine three carrier positions while giving the two secondary measurements different access geometry.
Primary configurable indicator position within the KK2 architecture.
Secondary measurement access from the side of the supported part.
Third measurement position with vertical carrier access.
Universal Punch general-data literature publishes a more precise minimum diameter and minimum part length than the simplified -10 model-selection nomenclature. Both values are preserved below.
The roller set should match the usable cylindrical support surfaces and required clearance around the measurement features.
Each indicator location is configured around probe direction, feature access, stylus reach and the actual inspection plan.
The standard Universal Punch system uses the published manual timing-belt drive architecture.
Indicator response is interpreted according to the drawing and inspection method; the number of indicators does not define the measurement characteristics by itself.
K1, K2, KK1 and KK2 separate the Universal Punch multi-indicator architectures by both the number of indicator positions and how the secondary positions reach the part.

Current model ↑Universal Punch defines the Concentricity Gaging System around three primary selections: gage model, main rollers, and indicators/accessories. On KK2-10, each of the three contact paths needs to be configured around the actual component geometry.
Choose KK2-10 when the -10 part envelope and Standard + Side + Vertical triple-indicator arrangement fit the inspection.
Match roller geometry to the usable cylindrical lands, shoulders, grooves, threads and required clearance around all three measurement features.
Specify resolution, range, probe direction, stylus reach, side-carrier access, vertical-carrier access, mounts, calibration and drive requirements.
The correct support geometry depends on the part's available cylindrical surfaces and the clearance required around all three indicator locations.
Universal Punch parts documentation includes analog and digital indicators, dovetail mounts, swivel supports, extension holders, right-angle attachments and multiple Standard, Side and Vertical Carrier assemblies.
Configure the primary contact around resolution, range, stylus reach, probe direction and the intended inspection feature.
Use side-carrier geometry when the secondary measurement location is best reached laterally.
Use vertical-carrier geometry when the third contact benefits from vertical measurement access or fine-adjustment architecture.
Accuracy classification, indicator resolution, carrier access, calibration documentation and rotation method should be considered together when configuring the KK2-10.
Universal Punch documentation identifies these classifications as calibrated and directly traceable to NIST. Confirm the final KK2-10 accuracy class, indicator resolution and documentation requirements when ordering.
Universal Punch documentation lists a dedicated KK2-10 variable-speed motor assembly and describes the variable-speed architecture as 24 VDC with forward/reverse and 0–10 rpm control. Powered rotation can be considered when hands-free operation makes it easier to observe several indicator responses.
KK2-10 is worth evaluating when the part fits the -10 envelope, three measurement contacts are useful, and the two secondary contacts require different carrier orientations.
If both secondary contacts are better approached from the side, evaluate KK1-10. If only two contacts are required, evaluate K1-10 or K2-10 according to access.
The same Standard + Side + Vertical Carrier architecture is published across three common diameter classes.
