Concentricity Gaging System

HL-10

Extended Shaft Gage · Vertical Carrier

The Universal Punch HL-10 is the extended-length member of the 3–25 mm concentricity gage range, configured for long shafts and components requiring inspection over part lengths up to 24 inches (610 mm). Its extended platform preserves the modular Universal Concentricity Gaging System approach while providing significantly more working length for demanding inspection applications.

Extended inspection capacity

Built around long-part access.

The HL-10 combines the 3–25 mm part-diameter range with an extended gage platform for parts up to 24 inches long. That makes it a natural starting point when the component fits the -10 diameter envelope but exceeds the working length of compact bench configurations.

01
Extended shaft platform Supports components up to 24 in (610 mm) in published HL-10 capacity.
02
Vertical indicator carrier Positions the indicator above the workpiece for direct measurement access.
03
Modular system architecture Model, roller set, indicator and accessories are selected as a complete inspection configuration.

Universal Concentricity Gaging System

Four system features engineered for repeatable inspection.

Universal Punch’s catalog identifies these as standard features of the Concentricity Gaging System family. Final HL-10 component selection should be confirmed for the specific inspection application.

01

Adjustable top-arm yoke

Multi-position top-arm adjustment provides a range of clamping pressures and positions to support different part diameters.

02

Fine indicator adjustment

Standard indicator carriers use fine-adjustment screws for probe positioning, zeroing and smooth indicator movement.

03

Smooth manual rotation

The system catalog specifies a manual drive timing-belt pulley arrangement for smooth part rotation, with fixed- or variable-speed motorized drive options available.

04

Positionable carrier system

Carriers move along the carrier-rod Z axis and can tilt 90 degrees to simplify part loading and unloading.

Configure the system

Start with the model. Finish around the part.

The current Universal Punch parts list defines the Concentricity Gaging System as a three-part selection process.

1
Select the gage model

HL-10 establishes the 3–25 mm diameter range and extended 24-inch part-length envelope.

2
Select the main rollers

Choose the roller geometry required to properly support the part and inspection condition.

3
Select indicator(s) and accessories

Complete the measurement setup around the required feature, probe location and workflow.
